seven on seven

This week saw a bike clinic, new growth in my little indoor tomato/daisy garden and a trip to the local co-op where students were enjoying the first real taste of spring. David and I decided not to go to Hot Springs because of a rainy forecast, but at the spur of the moment, decided to take a little trip to Oklahoma City and play tourist. We visited the Cowboy Museum, the Arts District and then walked across a pedestrian bridge with a magnificent sculpture that lit up at night with the city’s skyscrapers as a beautiful backdrop. The next morning, we made a stop at the Oklahoma Railway Museum with out of commission train cars that you could climb up into and take a peek at the insides, cabooses and a re-furbished train station. I’ll be posting a full gallery of our trip soon once I get all the photos edited. It was a great little “trippette” (as my mom used to call these little overnighters).

Wonder what next week will bring.
